For the first time in a long time, this week, Ian and Dave are by themselves in the studio. Of course, if you you know Dave and Ian, you know they don’t need a guest to help them blab and so blab away they do. Ian succinctly sums up Bruce Lee’s fighting technique and then Dave and Ian talk about his films; they talk about drive-ins and the palatial bathrooms of a local restaurant chain; Ian provides a critique of lottery commercials, but it turns out his reasons are pretty unwholesome; they briefly discuss contemporary reality shows and then turn their attentions to shows like That’s Incredible and Real People; they discuss the strange attitude of the Seventies towards the occult and finish up with a talk about the recent Vancouver Fan Expo, which both Dave and Ian attended (albeit it in different roles).
