Sneaky Dragon Episode 112

by David Dedrick on January 25, 2014

With Joe Fulgham. On this week’s Sneaky Dragon, Ian and David are joined by Joe Fulgham from Caustic Soda! Lots of stuff discussed this week, including: Dave is in even more trouble with his PR card (let’s just say orange jumpsuit); they talk quite a bit about Caustic Soda and, if you’re a fan of the show, you’ll be excited by some behind-the-scenes tidbits and Joe has a big announcement to make about about an upcoming guest; the show does take a bit of a Caustic Soda turn into the gross: fear of needles, disgusting food, and laser eye surgery stories; Dave explains the value of wearing glasses; Ian and Joe on drugs; thoughtful bullies and psycho-therabeat; even Grimmer fairy tales; Dave wants to discuss manliness…again; they talk science and science fiction (Dave still hates Star Trek); discuss meeting heroes and fans; Dave and Joe reminisce about Doctor Who; Joe is very ethical about Facebook likes; and Dave hems and haws through a Star Wars story.

I’m sure you’re already a big fan of Caustic Soda, but in case you’ve never heard it, you can listen to it here and on iTunes (of course). If you are a fan of the show, maybe support their Indie-Go-Go campaign to fund a new and improved Season Five of Caustic Soda by going here. There is only six days left as of the date of this post so time’s a-wastin’! As Joe mentioned on the show, he has a not-very-supportive of George Lucas website so make Lucas’ ears burn by reading the contents here.

Don’t miss David and Ian’s new podcast Compleatly Beatles. You can hear it on the Sneaky Dragon website or on iTunes.

Thanks for listening.

On this episode of Compleatly Beatles, Ian and Dave take a look at the very underrated Beatles’ album Beatles for Sale and their revolutionary single, “I Feel Fine” b/w “She’s a Woman”. After the little masterpiece that is A Hard Day’s Night, The Beatles came back down to earth for Beatles for Sale, a rushed […]

A Hard Day’s Night was not only the soundtrack to the Beatles’ first movie, it was also the first album to contain only songs written by the Beatles. We thought it would be fun here at Compleatly Beatles to re-create the Beatles first cover-free album with covers! For most of the songs there were lots […]

Hey everyone, welcome back to Sneaky Dragon. First off, our apologies to you because our recording software decided to edit the show itself and cut out some pretty funny stuff. In fact, it was probably some of the greatest stuff we’ve ever recorded! Too bad no one can ever hear it, right, Audacity? As to […]

Welcome back, Sneakers, and Happy New Year! This week Ian and Dave have terrible colds, but they manfully struggle through the show anyway. (It’s like when one of your co-workers is sick and they still come into work and do a terrible job.) This week: Ian spent a woozy New Year’s watching Diamonds Are Forever […]
