Sneaky Dragon Episode 116

Sneaky-Dragon-Episode-116

Hello, Sneakers, it’s another episode of Sneaky Dragon – although I suppose that’s why you’re here. We just want to stress that it is Episode 116 – Episode one one six. This week there is a lot about the Olympics: Dave crows about two gold medals won by Canada on the day of recording; he also talks about one of his favourite parts about the Olympics, the incredible selflessness and sportsmanship on display during the games. Also discussed: Dave’s piss-poor math abilities; Ian isn’t a fraidy-cat; Dave’s piss-poor name remembering abilities (that Canadian Olympic curler was named Jennifer Jones, which is a long way from Heather, Dave); Ian and David would make terrible teammates; silver is the worst Olympic medal, says Dave – Ian pooh-poohs; they describe the Olympics orgy party (for gold winners only); Ian tells us how the wolf tricked the shepherds; Dave bought a couple of Drawn and Quarterly’s John Stanley books and he’s a little iffy about Seth; they ask: do bees have knees?; Dave’s terrible, Noah-like flood is described; and finally, it’s Dave’s birthday.

Thanks for listening.

  1. Yes, my parents planned my conception very carefully in the back of a car. I almost spoiled their plans though, but arrived at five to midnight on February 22, 1966 – thus proving that my habitual procrastination is genetic.

  2. Cars were bigger back then. It could have been the front seat, or a blanket-lined trunk. You should ask them, ideally at a large family dinner.
