  1. Hi guys,

First off I’d like to say in my books you guys are the #1 podcast. It really bugs me that CBC or Team radio posting their radio broadcast online should not count under best podcast, should be best radio show. Counting them under podcasts would be like having a category of best amateur sports team and the Canucks winning it. So I think the Straight got this wrong.

In regards to sequels spoiling the original film, I’d have to say the 2 newest Star Trek movies are probably the worst of the bunch. They use the stupid time travel trick to change history, so that anything that’s already happened in the series never happened. I think that’s weak, lazy writing. It’s like they never wanted to have to worry about continuity, so they found a stupid way to eliminate all continuity.

So now rather than spoiling just one a previous movie, it spoiled almost 50 years of television and movies. And Benedict Cumberbach is no Ricardo Montelban…

    Thanks
    Ken

  2. Love your podcast. Just discovered it a month or so ago from the Beatles deal and this is much better. not that the Beatles thing was any less but it ended so this is better. Like Paul Mac. To the victor goes the spoils.

Would love to hear Dave talk more about his faith (sort of a question???) and Ian can talk about his cats or whatever he worships!

Again, keep up the good work on this podcast….
    Mike
