Sneaky Dragon Episode 147

Sneaky-Dragon-Episode-147

Hello, lovers of pizza and also dragons! This week on Sneaky Dragon, we play the blame game – namely, Ian blames Dave; it turns out Sneaky Dragon podcasts a wide net; are dinosaurs victims of prejudice; Ian has figured out a way to enjoy Gotham; Dave is simply enjoying the new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; more movie sequels that spoiled the original film: this time Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 gets a kicking; and we close out the show with a long talk about the psychological terror of grad reunions (Dave is pretty psyched to be going to his 30th on the weekend).

Questions, questions, questions! Get us your questions for the 150th Q & A episode and your question gives you a chance to win a custom Sneaky Dragon shirt! So get your questions in. Every question is a separate entry in the prize draw. How can you possibly pass this up???

Thanks for listening!

  1. There was exactly one known aquatic Dinosaur- Spinosaurus (aka the Big Bad from JURASSIC PARK 3). The other ones- Itchyosaurs, Plesiosaurs, Pliosaurs etc- were “marine reptiles”, not dinosaurs.

If your celebrity guest is Colton Haynes- a handful of weeks before I get there- I will be forced to go on a Gozer the Gozerian style Vancouver wide rampage 😀

in case you didn’t get my questions from before:

1] If you could have any superhero/villain power, whose would it be and why?

2] What is the “geek project” you would love to see a great film/TV show made of, any why?

3] What is the backstory of Jasper from THE SIMPSONS, pretty much the only character after 30 years or so that is still a cypher?!

  2. btw- the problem with Ryan Reynolds, from friends of mine who are actors and who have worked with him, is that he may be pretty, but offscreen he’s a TOTAL AND COLOSSAL DICK. Hence his lack of work lately.

  3. btw again- my problem with HARRY POTTER DEATHLY HALLOWS part 2 was how pedantic and rushed it was- “Okay, we’ve done that scene, now we’ll do this one.” If I hadn’t known it was the last film, I would have expected Voldemort to come back from their “last” fight that is filmed in a total anti-climax. Also, how many deaths occur offscreen and we just see the bodies or are told “they’re dead?” BOO.

LOVE the series HANNIBAL. *Hate* Mads Mikkelsen *as* Hannibal- mumbly, line-mangling and completely without any menace in his performance. Not since BUFFY have I so adored a show whilst loathing the main character.

  4. Question) I think we all know the podcast is an elaborate, now almost three year, long con to get Dave to draw another issue of Rounders, how is that going for everyone ?
