Sneaky Dragon Episode 289

Hola, Sneakers! This week on Sneaky Dragon, Ian and Dave start the show with a stammer; talk up Jack Benny; dis I’m Dying Up Here; pit burlesque against vaudeville; reveal there are two kinds of people in the world; promote Ian’s Kickstarter; fail trivia ; worry about Jim Carrey; explain that comedy is hard; hate on fake stand up; go to a sock hop; get a new work sport; hate vapes; hate change; have ceiling trouble; do bad British accents; mispronounce Hercule Poirot; write a murder mystery; make an early film appearance; get outraged at clickbait; feel sorry for Alec Baldwin; recommend Oh, Hello; visit the skuzziest 7-11; find no future for technocracy; and, finally, give advice to live by.

Thanks for listening.

  1. I had the same initial impression of I’m Dying Up Here, but I did like Episode 3 a lot better. I’ll be interested to hear if you agree. I like the characters of the two young broke stand-ups from Boston best. They’re the comic relief of the show, strange as that might sound when it’s a series about stand-up comedians.

  2. I used to live up in Prince George. Driving on highway 97 and seeing the landscape change was cool enough, but going the Fraser Canyon was always a thrill. Such a beautiful area.
