Hola, Sneakers! Welcome to another episode of Sneaky Dragon. Last week was Episode 300 and now the odometer turned over to 301. We will never see the likes of episode 300 again.
BUT…we will see the likes of episode 301 and this week Ian and Dave are thanking you; appearing on other podcasts; get proofs; go to (in)convenience stores; end up under the bus; squish pennies; do candy math; go to the beach; go to dangerous playgrounds; hang around creepy playgrounds; buy toy soldiers; talk Chick Talk™; knock Gilligan’s Island; hate on Love Boat; say blah about Fantasy Island; have problems with black and white; have problems with silent films; have a bias against yo-yo men; reveal some guaranteed social life killers; perform a terrifying burial; get grossed out by tennis balls; perform an amazing magic trick; make another scary story; do some Stephen King-ing; call out gypsies; and, finally, turn invisible.
Thanks for listening.
Don’t forget to listen to Ian on Brent Butt’s podcast Buttpod. His episode will drop on Monday!

I think those old cinema organs were known as Wurlitzers. Much as I love silent movies, I find the tone of that instrument really hard to take. Kind of an audio equivalent of the scary clown.
A really good musical accompaniment can bring a silent film to life though. I recently saw Murnau’s Faust in a small cinema with a fantastic jazz/rock trio playing live and giving it, well, you know. The result was completely gripping from start to finish – a great film and a great gig at the same time. Gance’s 6-hour Napoleon, on the other hand, is a movie I’m glad to have seen, but never plan to watch again.
Incidentally, my journey through all the past shows reached episode 150 a couple of weeks back. At the end, Ian says ‘150 more!’ And so it came to pass…
My chicken horror movie entry for Dave: SHELLRAISER. I’ll email the poster to you.
I told my significant other about the contest and he’s submitting POULTRYGEIST.
Significant Other is a good name for a horror film.
My chicken horror movie:
Chicken of the Corn 2: The Final Herb and Spice
I can’t remember what was on the show, but here are a few lunch hour quickies:
The Eggcorcist
The Coop on Haunted Hill
The Devil’s Wishbone
Skyfall
Alien [The movie poster is probably necessary for this to work]
The Babachook (for the Aussies out there)
