Sneaky Dragon Episode 303

Hola, Sneakers! This week Ian and Dave welcome the first of their “Come Eat with Us” contest winners: Karlin Leshchyshyn.

This week on the show, Ian and Dave talk about killing ghosts; discover we can’t sing our theme song; learn they have a guest house; hear about Ian’s tricky WiFi; have some Chick Talk™; allow their guest to guide the show conversation by rolling Story Cubes (dice with pictures on them), resulting in the following show topics:

  • pyramids
  • feet
  • flashlights
  • the scales of justice
  • feet (again)
  • dice
  • bees
  • compasses
  • a shooting star
  • eyeballs
  • envelopes
  • parachutes
  • turtles
  • word balloons

And, we may have lost Ian to the Twin Peaks rabbit hole; have eating in restaurants nostalgia; and, finally, spend some time praising Smitty’s.

Thanks to Karlin for taking part in our contest and joining us on the show.

And thanks to you for listening.

And thanks to Louise Moon and Chris Roberts for their fun movie parody posters!

From Louise:

And from Chris, the slightly off-topic…

  1. What happened to the idea of posting classic Sneaky Dragon episodes in the main feed? An hour and a half of Sneaky Dragon content is hardly enough to last a whole week, and it’s always a hassle to download old episodes from the website.

If you need suggestions for old episodes, I have: episode 95 (origin of Sneaky Dragon), 115 (old Vancouver bus routes), 189 (telephone scam), 200 (rejected irrelevant show sketches), and 249 (Dave’s biggest regret). These are the ones that I’ve never been able to delete from my iTunes library.

    1. Thanks for that nice rundown of past shows, Liam! These are things I can’t remember so I appreciate the memory aids.

That idea is still in development. In order to do this, we would have to double our upload charges. Until we start our next sidecast I’m not all that keen to add to my monthly expenses.

We’ll talk about this when Ian and I record episode 305 – if I remember!
