Sneaky Dragon Episode 306

Ciao, Sneakers! Welcome to episode 306 of Sneaky Dragon.

This week on the show: podcast tips; podcast morals; good memories, bad memories, and no memories; things are going swimmingly; household nudity; saunafit; the horrors of leg day; high school gym; our sponsors; swimming pools; a tribute to hot dogs; DANGER: heated eggs; Canadian versus American potato chips; the voice of Fritos; in praise of Tic Tacs; performance anxiety; we need bored kids; magic bullets; Chick Talk™; Peck Talk™; being in The New Yorker; New York, New York, it’s a wonderful town; Pride and Prejudice redux; and, finally, film ratings and Dave’s not listening.

Thanks for listening (unlike Dave).

The most shocking moment in all of recorded Pride and Prejudice:

Seriously, guys, this is how you do Wickham:

He had one 5 minute video to get himself across and he did it in spades!

  1. I put mayonnaise (and mustard) on my hot dogs too. I don’t think it’s an uncommon thing. Ikea’s hot dog condiment station has ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise pumps (remember when they used to have relish pumps? I think they got rid of it because it kept clogging up) and Japadog’s teriyaki-mayonnaise dog is their best seller.

By the way, I recently learned how good Vegenaise is. I would recommend it to people who aren’t even on a vegan diet.

  2. If Dave’s favourite Wickham can be from a web series, then my favourite Lizzy just might be the one played by Aishwarya Rai in “Bride and Prejudice” where she’s called Lalita. Actually the whole movie is nicely cast, and the high and low comedy characters from Austen’s novel translate well into a modern east-meets-west Bollywood-flavoured flick.
