  1. Yes, it’s one of the terms and conditions they BC can publish your name and picture if you win a big prize. They say it’s for marketing and transparency. But last month, Lotto BC did make an exception for a 30-million-dollar jackpot winner but said they only do that under extraordinary circumstances. They didn’t say what those were, but on the radio and on social media people were guessing the winner was in witness protection or had an abusive spouse. Maybe it’s someone in law enforcement or national security who can’t have their cover blown. One thing for sure, it’s not me. Of course, if I were an anonymous lottery winner, that’s just that sort of thing I’d say.
