  1. We must be on the same Disney+ wavelength because I also watched Bedknobs & Broomsticks the day it premiered last week! This was ONLY after watching The Mandalorian and being completely amazed by it with all of it’s wildfire speculation…

I also had the Bedknobs & Broomsticks story album, so all the songs were immediately familiar. I hadn’t seen Bedknobs & Broomsticks since I was a little kid and I remember being especially fond of the animals playing soccer since I played soccer in school with my friends. I remember pretending to be them from that live/animated sequence. What I do not remember were that there were Nazis in this film…

I then followed your same path and watched The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes! I vaguely remember this film but I had to watch out of curiosity so I’ll also follow up with the other Kurt Russell/Medfield College films. Once you guys mentioned it, I had to check out The Black Hole which, as David said, holds up really well. I suppose next I’ll find Return to Oz and just see what else I’ve been missing…

My male cat, Mr. Jinx literally walked into my parents garage from a thunderstorm. We gave it a few days to see if he was lost and belonged elsewhere, but after that I took him home. He’s as cranky as ever, yowling in the middle of the night.

We took in my female cat, Charlie because my wife had heard nobody wanted this cat that looked liked Hitler. So with her little tramp mustache, we named her Charlie after Charlie Chaplin. She’s a constant purring machine who also trills to me when I rock her like a baby.

  2. Sneaky Dragon in 30 Words or Less:

A weekly random discussion of like-minded, pop cultural and nostalgic esoterica that usually ends up being compared to M*A*S*H*.
