Sneaky Dragon Listening Party – Ep. 63

Dave misspoke during the show, attributing drums to The Like’s Charlotte Froom. She was actually the original bassist for the group! Apologies all round!

  1. I LOVE the minidocs!

This episode’s rundown on the Left Banke was really interesting, although learning that the wonderful Michael McKean was involved did mean that all their 1960s songs were accompanied in my head by images of Spinal Tap doing Listen to the Flower People on Jamboreebop.

Standout tracks this time were from The Like, Fairport Convention, The Fall and The Kingsbury Manx – viva dissonance!

I appreciate getting the songs to download as well. The great sequencing of these mixes often makes the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

Muchos kudos, Dave, on your spot-on pronunciation of ‘loch’!
