Dave and his daughter Mary have revived the Fansplainers banner for a new mini-series – they’re going to go through all the Mission: Impossible films in anticipation of the release of Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning on May 23.
This week they talk about Mission: Impossible – Fallout – part two of the McQuadrilogy as Christopher McQuarrie breaks tradition and returns as director. Handsome Henry Cavill and lovely Vanessa Kirby appear as baddies, Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Pegg return as goodies, and a resentful Sean Harris grudgingly returns as Solomon Lane.
