Refresh My Memory – Double Indemnity

Double Indemnity

Double your indemnity, double your fun with this 1944 classic starring Fred MacMurray, Edward G. Robinson, Barbara Stanwyck, and canned food so valuable it needed armed guards.

Jason Dedrick, Eric Fell and Vicky Van will insure you a good time with their memories and so many good stories told so casually it’ll all seem like an accident.

There will also be snacks, there will also be drinks. One of which that the gang creates is…

The Little Man

Want to make it? Here’s the recipe…

  • 1 1/2 oz Bourbon if you’re making it at home – 3 oz if you’re on a train
  • Honey Simple Syrup (one part honey to one part water, heated until dissolved) to taste
  • A squeeze of lemon
  • Serve over crushed iced, stir, pop in a straw and start narrating your regrets

Listener Louise Moon sent in her own drink creation inspired by our discussion of the film, Heat.
The Muddled Takedown AKA The Bloody Shootout.

If you want to be as cool as Louise, If you make the drink or come up with one of your own, please send a picture to sneakyd@sneakydragon.com or follow this link! Even if you don’t, we’d still love to hear from you.

Produced by Ian Boothby
