Sneaky Dragon Episode 214

Sneaky-Dragon-Episode-214

Cheerio, Sneakers! Welcome to the first show recorded in 2016! This week Ian and Dave take a look back at 2016; have a moment of epiphany; deconstruct the Three Wise Men; enjoy Dave’s struggle to remember the Christmas story; wonder about word words; have an eating show controversy; learn about french fry sandwiches; disapprove of stunt eating; go for a run; remember celebrating New Year and watch Dan Herzfeld’s newest cartoon; bemoan Ian’s over-under-sleeping; play a little game of Beatles Trivial Pursuit; and, finally, have a discourse on cursive writing.

Thanks for listening.

Dave has a question for any computer whizzes out there: We have had the occasional problem for the last while of out website being unavailable due to too many JQueries. Wassup?????

It turns out there is a word for words that describe themselves like the wore “noun”. This sort of word is called autological.

We mentioned seeing Dan Herzfeld’s fabulous new cartoon World of Tomorrow during the show. Here is the trailer:

  1. FYI, the customary Epiphany treat in Finland is piparkakku, star-shaped gingerbread cookies. Thanks to the Guerra-Boothby kitchen, this year I was fortunate enough to have some on hand to celebrate!
